The business and the problem
Licensed financial advisors in the Philippines sell life insurance and investment plans on referrals and Facebook. Most are early in their careers, work from a phone, and keep their follow-ups in a notebook or a Messenger thread. Leads go cold not because the advisor is bad at the job but because nobody reminds them that a prospect who asked for a quote three weeks ago has not been called back.
Off-the-shelf CRMs solve this for a US sales team and price it per seat in dollars. For an advisor earning commission in pesos, that is the wrong tool at the wrong price.
What was built
NudgeNow is a follow-up CRM built around how an advisor actually works, from the first hello to a booked call.
A personal website with a lead funnel
Each advisor gets a one-page site on their own link or domain: photo, story, a two-minute "Protection Check" quiz that shows a prospect their coverage gap, and a booking link. The quiz result is emailed to the prospect and lands in the advisor's pipeline as a lead.
Automatic follow-ups and a "who is due today" view
The system schedules the follow-ups advisors forget: the snapshot after the quiz, the reminder before a call, the birthday greeting, the policy review. The advisor writes the words once; the system keeps the time. A daily view shows exactly who is due, so the day starts with a list, not a guess.
Calendar sync and bookings
Booked calls go straight onto the advisor's Google Calendar, with reminders to both sides.
Local payments
Subscriptions are paid in pesos through PayMongo — GCash, Maya, cards and QR Ph — with an official receipt per payment. No foreign card required.
What changed
As of August 2026, 33 advisors had signed up and 22 had published a live site. Advisors on the platform pay ₱299 a month after a free 30-day trial. Most publish their site in under fifteen minutes of setup, which was the design target from day one.
What this means for an SME project
NudgeNow is what a custom CRM looks like when it is built around one real process instead of a generic sales pipeline: a small number of screens that match how the business actually works, the reminders that people forget, and payments in the currency the customer earns. The same approach scales down to a clinic tracking patients due for a follow-up, a real-estate broker tracking inquiries per listing, or a training business tracking enrollments and payments. If that sounds like your business, start with the custom CRM and web app service, which begins at ₱150,000 with a written plan before any code; the pricing page shows what moves the price.
Stack
React with Supabase and PostgreSQL for the application and database, PayMongo for payments, Cloudflare for hosting and email routing. One engineer designed, built, launched and operates it.
